René is a Senior Airport Architect at NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants, and brings almost 30 years of experience in architecture and urban planning to his role. With an M.Sc in Architecture from Delft University of Technology, René's expertise lies in the development of strong economic and commercial value propositions for Airport Cities and Airport Buildings. He has extensive international experience in high profile signature architectural and master planning projects of varying scales and types, ranging from housing areas, industrial areas, railways stations areas, urban renewal areas, and regional studies to research projects.
At NACO, René's focus is on strategy development, concept planning, feasibility assessment, and architectural design. He integrates business requirements with sound architectural planning and design to deliver effective and efficient solutions. He has led NACO's airport city development projects at Long Thanh, Western Sydney, and Lusaka, and his contributions to these projects have been invaluable.
Throughout his career, René has worked in both Lead Designer and Director roles at high profile architecture firms. His unique combination of expertise in architecture, urban planning and airport development enables him to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of his clients and enhance the development of airports worldwide.
